Campsite activities
The 4.5-hectare lake of Cunlhat is directly accessible on foot from L’émeraude du Lac campsite.
Looking after the flora
Night fishing is prohibited due to non-compliance with the regulations, the carp charter and safety regulations (lights).
Other fishing spots in the Livradois-Forez region can be discovered in the vicinity of Cunlhat.
The fishing rights granted also depend on the good behavior of anglers. Don’t forget to collect garbage, fishing line, hooks, glass, plastic, sinkers…. They soil the sites and can be dangerous.
We ask you to take care of the flora and vegetation along the banks, and to protect all the biological elements that contribute to healthy fish populations.
January 1 to December 31
Fishing is possible on most of the banks.
All techniques are permitted except lure fishing. Fishing is open from January 1 to December 31.
Rich in carp, pike, zander …
It is regularly restocked with cyprinids, whitefish and predators. Its waters are rich in carp, pike, zander, perch, chub, rainbow trout and fry.
Protecting aquatic environments
The lake of Cunlhat is a municipal lake. Fishing is managed by the Association Agréée de Pêche et de Protection des milieux Aquatiques. The lake is classified as Eaux Closes (closed water), as the layout of the site hinders the natural passage of fish, except in the case of exceptional hydrological events.
Courtesy & good citizenship
We invite anglers following the advice of the AAPPA to share the banks of the lake with other anglers and users with courtesy and civility. To preserve the site and its facilities in the interests of anglers and other users.
